PlayStation Access Episode 44

No better way to start the weekend then with PS Access TV, with GT Academy news, a bit of soccer and also a visit to my favorite game developer CodeMasters to see what’s up with F1 2012

  • We hail Pro Evolution Soccer’s return to glory in Game of the Week
  • PlayStation briefing takes you to EA’s offices to chat to FIFA 13 producer David Rutter about career mode, makes us drop our jaw at Crysis 3.
  • THQ’s Corey Ledesma challenges WWE’s Mis to a deathmatch and we chat about markerless augmented reality on PS VIta.
  • On The Store brings PlayStation Plus members Dead Space 2 for 0 pennies, rolls into stuff with Rock of Ages and takes a look at the Transformers: Fall of Cybertron demo.
  • Bonus Level takes us to Codemasters HQ to peek a sneak at F1 2012, including weather and realism changes and proves that everyone in the Access office is rubbish at racing.
  • Access All Areas gives you access to the GT Academy UK final, where gamers from across the country came together to show off their real life racing skills and take part in gruellng physical tests.
  • Sign Out involves Access script writer Rob Pearson faffing around on the London 2012 game. Oh, and shot-putting selotape. Don’t ask.
